The beginning of the end.
Our last child still living at home.
His senior year.
This is the year that I have dreaded since that first graduation back in 2013.
I lived through the others because Jake was still here. I still had one. But, even now, that is a dwindling thought.
He's ready, though.
They always are.
So for me, this will be a year of letting go. My baby really isn't a baby any longer
I just need to sit back and enjoy the journey.
It is going to be an awesome school year! Not just for Jake, but for myself as well. Just take a look at these faces....
What an amazing group of second graders! I am so thankful God has brought them into my classroom for such a time as this!
They come to me from the USA, Canada, Australia, Italy, and Taiwan. On the way to my doorstep, they have lived in out of the way places like Mongolia and Singapore! But, now they are here. With me!
I am blessed!
